t:slim X2 Insulin Pump With Basal-IQ
The t:slim X2 works as a combo pump–continuous glucose monitor (CGM), without the need for finger stick blood glucose checks, when paired with the Dexcom G6 CGM. Basal-IQ technology predicts glucose levels and stops insulin delivery if glucose is expected to drop below 80 mg/dL in the next 30 minutes. Insulin delivery resumes once glucose begins to rise. The pump has a color touch screen and long-lasting rechargeable battery. Boluses for meals and correction can be delivered by the user via the touch screen pump or t:connect mobile app on compatible smartphones. In-warranty pumps can be updated with new features when they are approved using a computer, without requiring the purchase of a new device. The Basal IQ Algorithm is no longer offered after 12/1/23 though users will be supported throughout the life of their pump warranty.
