Stelo System is an over-the-counter (OTC) continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system. A sensor inserted under the skin checks blood glucose (or blood sugar) levels and sends readings to a mobile app. The app may be accessed from compatible Apple and Android smartphones to view glucose trends and personalized insights.
The sensor requires a 30 minute warmup period to adjust to the user's body before readings begin. Each sensor session lasts for up to 15 days.
Stelo is approved for use by people 18 years and older not on insulin. It is not approved for use during pregnancy.
