Glyxambi combines Jardiance (empagliflozin) and linagliptin in a once-daily tablet to improve blood glucose levels. Glyxambi has been shown to reduce the risk of death from heart disease. It is approved for adults with type 2 diabetes.
- Glyxambi is approved for adults with type 2 diabetes. It is not for treating type 1 diabetes.
- For adults with type 2 diabetes and heart disease, Glyxambi is also used to lower the risk of death from heart attack, stroke, or heart failure.
