Simplera Sync sensor

The Simplera Sync sensor is a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) component of the MiniMed 780G system. The integrated system provides real-time glucose readings, automated insulin delivery adjustments, and proactive alerts.

The Simplera Sync sensor has a 6-day wear time plus 24 hour grace period. It has a two hour warm-up time and does not require fingerstick confirmation.

The Simplera Sync sensor is approved for people with type 1 diabetes age 7 years and over and adults with type 2 diabetes who require insulin.
