MiniMed Flex System

The Medtronic MiniMed Flex insulin pump system features a screenless design powered by the company's SmartGuard™ algorithm with Meal Detection™ technology. MiniMed Flex supports the Simplera Sync sensor.

MiniMed Flex automatically adjusts basal insulin and delivers correction boluses when operating in SmartGuard™ mode, while still requiring user input for meals. It is cleared for use with rapid-acting U-100 insulins.

MiniMed Flex is approved for people with type 1 diabetes age 7 and above and adults ages 18+ living with insulin-requiring type 2 diabetes.

  • Small design with high insulin capacity: Can be worn in a pocket or out of sight while delivering a 300-unit insulin reservoir.
  • Smartphone-controlled: Managed through a compatible app for use with iOS and Android devices.
  • Sensor compatibility: Supports Simplera Sync sensor.
  • Extended infusion set options: Works with MiniMed's infusion set portfolio, including the extended infusion set with up to 7 days of wear.
  • Performance: Real-world results have demonstrated 80% time in range with recommended settings.
