This infusion set is designed for patients with a history of scar tissue, bent cannulas, or Teflon allergies. It uses a steel cannula that is manually inserted. The set is compatible with Medtronic pumps and any pump with a Luer-lock connector. The infusion set must be inserted manually. The insertion site and connection are located on separate adhesive sites helping prevent dislodging when the set is disconnected.
- Secure connection with two adhesive pads
- Uses a fine 29-gauge steel needle (thinnest available)
- Insert at a 90-degree angle
- Extra disconnection side (10 cm from infusion site)
- Suited for individuals with reactions to plastic cannulas
