The BD Safe-Clip removes insulin syringe needles and pen needles after use. The device stores up to 1,500 needles within the clipper and can be used with 28- to 31-gauge needles that are 5 to 12.7 millimeters in length. The Safe-CIip is not intended for use with lancets.
- Allows for safe needle disposal, clips off insulin syringe and pen needles, rendering them unusable and storing them securely to prevent accidental pricks
- High capacity holding approximately 1,500 clipped needles, equivalent to a two-year supply for many users, reducing frequent disposal needs
