The V-Go is a tubeless insulin delivery system indicated for adults who require insulin. The V-GO delivers u-100 insulin via a stainless-steel needle automatically at a pre-set basal rate and on demand for boluses via a mechanical button. Each disposable device is worn like a patch for 24 hours, after which time users attach a new V-Go. The device is available in three different models with reservoir sizes of 56, 66, or 76 units.

  • Basal-bolus delivery: V-Go provides a preset basal insulin rate (20, 30, or 40 units/24 hours) and up to 36 units of on-demand bolus insulin in two-unit increments, using U-100 rapid-acting insulin (Humalog or NovoLog)
  • Simplified application: Worn like a patch on the abdomen or arm, it’s applied daily with a button press to start insulin flow, eliminating the need for multiple daily injections or complex programming
  • Compact and discreet: Measuring 2.4 x 1.3 x 0.5 inches and weighing ~1 oz when filled, V-Go is lightweight, waterproof, and worn under clothing for discreet use, even during swimming or showering
  • Improved glycemic management: Studies show V-Go reduces A1C (e.g., 1.5% drop in some trials) and total daily insulin dose (by 17–39 units) compared to multiple daily injections, with no significant weight gain
  • User-friendly and cost-effective: Requires only one insulin type, potentially lowering copays, and uses an EZ Fill device for easy filling
  • Magnetic Resonance (MR) unsafe: You should remove V-Go before having an X-ray, MRI, or CT scan (or any similar test  or procedure) . Replace with a new V-Go after the test or procedure is completed
