Tresiba (insulin degludec injection) is a long-acting insulin used to manage blood glucose in adults and children 1 year of age and older with diabetes. Tresiba is delivered via vial and syringe or pen. Tresiba first appears in the blood stream 1 hour after subcutaneous injection. It is also available as U-200, a different concentration of insulin, but only as an insulin pen.
