DisonCare portable insulin coolers come in a stainless-steel cup body. There are currently three models on the market with a duration of cooling from 60–72 hours and capacity of two to seven insulin pens. One model currently has a digital temperature display.
- Insulin coolers use a double-layer vacuum design made of 18/8 food-grade stainless steel to maintain a stable low temperature
- Options include:
- Blue gel bottles that, when frozen for 6–10 hours, keep contents cool for up to 48 hours at an ambient temperature of 86°F (30°C)
- White ice water bottle can extend cooling to 60 hours
- Most models include a digital display thermometer and a glass red-water thermometer for real-time temperature monitoring, ensuring medications stay within the safe 2–8°C range
