Lyumjev (insulin lispro-aabc) injection is a rapid-acting insulin for adults and children with diabetes. It is injected before or after meals via syringe, a prefilled disposable Lyumjev U-100 KwikPen, or pump. This insulin is also available in a Junior KwikPen for precise dosing and in a higher U-200 concentration.
- Rapid-acting insulin: Usually taken before a meal. Begins to work about 15 minutes after injection and lasts 2-4 hours.
