  • Invokana is used to improve blood glucose management in adults and children age 10 and over with type 2 diabetes. Invokana helps the kidneys of adults with type 2 diabetes get rid of glucose from the bloodstream to improve blood glucose management. It is not for treating type 1 diabetes.
  • Invokana is taken once per day. It may be taken with or without food, but is usually taken in the morning with the first meal of the day.
