The Tandem Mobi System is a small automated insulin delivery (AID) system that integrates continuous glucose monitor (CGM) data and is fully controllable via its mobile app. Its Control-IQ Technology uses values from a compatible Dexcom G6 or Dexcom G7 CGM to predict glucose levels 30 minutes ahead and automatically adjust insulin, if needed, to help prevent highs and lows. It is compatible with NovoLog U-100 or Humalog U-100 insulin cartridges.
Tandem Mobi is approved for use in people ages 2 and over.
- Wearability: Users can wear it on-body with a lightweight adhesive sleeve, clip it to clothing, or slip it into a pocket.
- Mobile App: Users can fully control the Tandem Mobi System via the mobile app on a compatible iOS device. (Android compatibility FDA-approved in 2025 and expected to launch in 2026.)
- Sensor Compatibility: Compatible with the Dexcom G6 and Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems
- Advanced Technology: Uses wireless charging and is capable of remote software updates.
- Pump Control: Has a physical button that allows users to deliver a bolus of insulin without their smart phone.
- Insulin: Compatible with 200-unit cartridge of NovoLog U-100 and Humalog U-100.
